In November 2022, my wife Lydia and I embarked on an exciting journey to Selebi Phikwe, eager to explore the employment opportunity at Selebi Phikwe Citrus. As we set foot on the farm, the breathtaking beauty and potential were instantly apparent. It didn’t take long for us to make the life-changing decision to accept the offer, knowing deep down that this was the right path for us.
Arriving in late November, the anticipation and excitement grew as I prepared to assume the role of Pack Operations Logistics and Special Projects Manager on December 1st. The warm welcome and genuine friendliness extended by our new SPC colleagues and the community made the transition incredibly smooth. It was as if we had found a place where we truly belonged.
Each day brings new opportunities to contribute to this incredible company, town, and country. The privilege of working alongside talented individuals, sharing our expertise, and witnessing the growth of Selebi Phikwe Citrus fills us with immense joy. Not only are we making a difference in the agricultural industry, but we are also embracing the vibrant culture and embracing the adventurous spirit of this remarkable place.
